Head to the Shongweni Farmer’s & Craft Market on Tuesday, 9 August (Women’s Day) for what promises to be a great day out for the whole family, with good food, loads of vibrant craft stalls and an awesome line-up of live music featuring jazz artist Natalie Rungan among others.
With its relaxed country setting, the venue is just half an hour from Durban/Pietermaritzburg and offers large covered seating areas, lush open spaces and fantastic views of Kirk Falls. There will also be a kids’ zone, as well as a wide variety of stalls selling delicious artisan food and beverages.
Running from 10am to 5pm, the all-female line-up also includes dynamic Durban songstress Chloe Clark, acoustic duo Not Fat, Just Fluffy and singer-songwriters Erin Fourie, Cyndi Kritzinger, Kasia, Kaiti Faul and Shannon Connolly.
