MUSIC IN THE MIDLANDS AT NOTTIES SUNDAY LIVE

After a hugely successful debut event, Notties Sunday Live is back on 2 July 2017 with another top-notch line-up of live music featuring SA music great Pierre de Charmoy, smooth-voiced crooner Dave Starke and Kéch Sánchez, frontman for popular Howick band Pan Latino.

Held at the legendary Nottingham Road Hotel in the heart of the KZN Midlands, expect a fun day out for the whole family, with a relaxed, friendly vibe, great music and delicious food in a wonderful garden setting.  What more could you ask for?

Advance tickets are available at Quicket and cost R75 for adults and R20 for kids under 12.  Children under four get in free.  Tickets will also be on sale at the gate on the day BUT if you buy online via Quicket you’ll also stand a chance of winning double tickets to the annual White Mountain Festival worth R1 200!  (Winner needs to be at the event on 2 July to collect their prize.)

Gates open at 10am, with the first act up at 11am.  Food and drinks will be on sale and no refreshments may be brought into the venue.  Picnic blankets and camping chairs are welcome.

CATCH THE SUBWAY RUN @ CRUSADERS

Durban indie-folk-soul trio The Subway Run will perform at the weekly Sol Sunday Sessions at Northwood Crusaders Sports Club on 11 June.

Hot property on the South African music scene, The Subway Run is fronted by Freddy Lalendle, who is back in town after a successful run on the current season of M-Net’s The Voice SA, having made it through to the first live show on 21 May.

Also on the bill are acoustic singer-songwriters Jade Aucamp and Tatum Holder.  Background music from 12 noon, with the first act up at 1pm.

Expect a fun afternoon out for the whole family, with good music, good food and loads of drink specials and giveaways.  Entrance is free and there is plenty of parking and seating.  Children welcome.
