Launched on 4 June 2017, Notties Sunday Live is a series of live music events held on the first Sunday of every month at the legendary Nottingham Road Hotel in the heart of the KZN Midlands.
Expect a fun day out for the whole family, with a relaxed, friendly vibe, great music and delicious food in a wonderful garden setting. Children are welcome and there’s ample space for them to play, as well as a jumping castle and jungle gym.
The next event takes place on Sunday, 1 October and features two top Cape Town acts. First up is violinist Luca Hart, a creative one-woman force who is set to wow audiences with a repertoire of her own compositions, ranging from soulful singer-songwriter ballads to cinematic soundscapes. She will be followed by The Brothers Remedy, a branch-off of successful show band Crimson House. This duo can fill any stage no matter the size. Expect a gypsy jungle sound and loads of energy!
Advance tickets (via Quicket) cost R75 for adults and R20 for kids under 12. Tickets will also be on sale at the gate on the day – adults pay R100 and kids R30. Children under four get in free.
Gates open at 10am, with the first act up at 11am. Food and drinks will be on sale and no refreshments may be brought into the venue. Picnic blankets and camping chairs are welcome.
The hotel is situated just 8km off the N3 on the R103 in Nottingham Road. For accommodation bookings or to reserve a table in the à la carte restaurant (optional), email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org or call 033 266 6151. For general information, contact 031 563 0824.
